I even had a big old (unpictured) salad for lunch with spinach, carrots, mushrooms, and seitan. I was feeling it.
But, then the sugar cravings started. And smack dab in the middle of the day, I wanted to run home and grab as much chocolate as I could eat. I tried really hard to not think about it.
I tried to eat some oranges to see if I could calm the beast.
I tried to take my mind off of it by organizing my school stuff.
I even tried the "hair of the dog" technique.
Nothing worked! I eventually dug into my emergency snack stash and found some sugar.
Finally, I calmed down and cranked out a couple more hours of work.
I left work around 6:30pm and thought up my to-do list for the night. One of the things on that list was to make a lasagna!
I cannot wait to dig into this tomorrow!
I used up some of the leftover ingredients to make dinner.
Yum.
In other news, I got a haircut and now look like Justin Bieber.
