TV Free Day #1

This morning I decided that I would start my 10 day TV free challenge. I was pumped and ready and excited and...

Now, after a long day of work and class, I really really really want to curl up with an episode or two of Friends or something. I'm sure I will find another outlet to relax and unwind every night. But right now, I really want to watch some TV.

Instead, I'll blog.

Today is another day with an evening class (from 5pm-8pm). Last Thursday I almost died trying to attend class after an 8-hour work day. So today, I decided to get in some extra sleep and head to work later. This definitely helped with my mental energy. I wasn't completely fresh for class but I wasn't utterly drained either. I am definitely going to be adopting this schedule for Thursdays too.

Anyway, when I woke up this morning, I started checking email, catching up on blogs and reading for class without even bothering to brush my teeth. So, by the time I got out of bed, worked out and showered, it was time for lunch.

Leftover veggies and pasta from yesterday.



I followed up with a green juice.



I was a busy bee all day and didn't eat (this is a major issue that I will talk about soon) until midway through class. I snacked on some unpictured almonds and a few bites of an apple pie Larabar.

I came home to eat the "dinner" that I had packed to eat before class.

Oatmeal with goji berries and sliced pears. With a side of blog reading.



I am now getting down to business with some prep work for tomorrow morning's 8am class. A large mug of tea and a few cashews might sneak in before I head to bed.
