Fall Is Upon Us

Oh yes!



This doesn't seem like much, but it was enough to throw open my windows today.



I know. I have quite the view. A fence? You can't beat that. The best part is that my other "view" is of a brick wall. I'll spare you the pictures.

Anyway, I love that this is going to be a short week. Two thumbs up for Labor Day.

I had oatmeal for brunch today.



Oats with apple and the usual fixin's with cinnamon and flax oil on top.

I spent most of my day catching up on some reading for school. I am super excited for this semester! All my classes seem fantastic so far.

I had an early dinner today around 6pm. I decided to use up the last of my black beans and rice in burrito along with sauteed onions, mushrooms, kale and spinach.



It turned out to be two mini burritos. No complaints here.



Delicious.

I ended with a few slices of watermelon-- easily the only thing of the summer I actually want to hold onto.



I went back into study mode for all of 30 mins post dinner. And then decided to tune into the all day How I Met Your Mother marathon on FX. Which I think we can all agree is a much better use of my time than studying epidemiology. Right? Right? No? Oh...

Back to the books then.
