TJ's, I miss you.

I slept in this morning. Something about sleeping in while at home is glorious. I love being home. I love the laughter and the fighting alike. I also love that we play music most nights which my brother and I sing/scream along to. It's such a good time. It's also when I wish I were still a kid and when I'm grateful that my brother still is. The fact that my brother is much younger and still in grade school guarantees that he's home when I am and also guarantees that I can act like a complete idiot child while I'm with him.

Anyway, I juiced for 3 this morning afternoon. Same formula but I doubled it. It made about 1.5 liters.

I ending up drinking the majority of it since this came after lunch for my parents.

Since I'm not hungry and I'm meeting some friends for happy hour in a little bit, I decided to just snack it out for lunch. I was originally going to eat a plum and an ear of corn but then I found this is in the pantry...

Happiness. Since we don't have Trader Joe's in Texas, I hoarded about 5 packets of dried mango on my trip to California. TJ's was actually on my list of must-do's while I was in the Bay Area earlier this summer. I heard so much about it from bloggers and out-of-state friends and couldn't wait to get my hands on their hummus and dried mango. I wish we had a TJ's here! Too bad Whole Foods dominates this state. They could certainly use a little competition.

Anyway, I devoured about half the packet along with some roasted sunflower kernels.

I'm going to go get ready to meet some friends. We are heading to The Daily Grill tonight for dinner/happy hour.
