This green juice packs a major punch.
Romaine lettuce, kale, red chard, spinach, cabbage, green bell pepper, celery and green apple. It makes about a half liter which I sip on for about a half hour. I skipped out on a real breakfast because I woke up pretty close to lunch time.
Lunch was a salad of romaine lettuce, spinach, leftover sauteed vegetables (from yesterday's Socca Stackcakes), marinated chickpeas and fresh tomatoes. I also made "croutons" from leftover socca.
I dressed my salad with homemade deliciousness.
It's one part fresh lemon juice and one part oil (mix of 3/6/9 blend, flax and olive). I then added dried basil, oregano, thyme, crushed red pepper flakes, cracked pepper and few cloves of minced garlic. It's fruity, a tad spicy and all around delicious. In fact it made another appearance at dinner.
Steamed veg with dressing and half an avocado. Simple, light and filling.
Post dinner, I enjoyed a few pieces of dried mango from my impromptu Whole Foods run yesterday, along with an ABC Family movie on Netflix and a self-mani.
I love this color! Such an awesome summer color!
Probably gonna dig into a few strawberries and maybe start another movie. This post is called "Lazy Day" for a reason.
