Work it Out

This morning I met my friend at the gym for a workout. We both needed a little motivation. We met at 6:30am and completed 30+ mins on the treadmill alternating jogging and walking. Felt pretty amazing. This is actually one of the more cardio heavy workouts I've done in a while. Lately, I've been doing a lot of pilates, yoga and calisthenics. I'm looking forward to more cardio though.

I went about my day (which included a nap) and then found this at my door this afternoon!



I'm so excited! I can't wait to try it out!

Lunch and dinner were the same today. Leftovers with veggies.



Sauteed squash with leftover cauliflower mixture (from the clean eggplant parmesan)with quinoa, steamed kale and steamed carrots. It was simple and delish.

I've got about two more hours of work ahead of me before I can call it a day. This is the last week of summer classes. I cannot wait for Friday! Unfortunately, there are 4 assignments and a final between me and my beloved freedom. It's a stressful week, but I'm hanging in there. Kinda.
