Whole Foods Run

The highlight of my day was stocking my fridge. Yup, it was quite an exciting day! heh heh

I met up with Jennifer for a workout this evening but the gym was crazy packed. The weather outside was beautiful so we decided to head down to Hermann Park for a walk. We ran into another friend of ours on the way and convinced him to join us. We chatted and walked for almost an hour. It was lovely. Hermann Park is beautiful!

I ran home at 9pm grabbed my grocery list and wallet and headed to WF before they closed at 10.

I came home with this:



Which can be deceiving...



Greens



Salad greens, kale, juicing veg (lettuce, red chard, red cabbage, green bell pepper, celery)

Cooking vegetables



Yellow squash, broccoli, brussel sprouts, asparagus

Fruits and Miscellaneous



Apples (green and braeburn), pluots, oranges, raspberries + cinnamon, balsamic vinegar and roasted hatch peppers (OH YES, it is officially the season!)

I came home ready to eat! I put together a meal of quinoa and mung bean curry and a freshly purchased orange while putting away the groceries.



I'm a little tired but want/need to prep veggies and brown rice for tomorrow. I think I can get away with just cooking the brown rice. For now, I am getting cozy on the couch with a book.
