It all started out with a late alarm and a really odd bowl of oats. I had half a smoothie leftover from the Vitamix experience that I wanted to somehow incorporate. So, it turned into this.
The smoothie and the frozen fruit on top are from a Costco-sized bag of berries and things.
It's a mixture of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, pomegranate arils and cherries. Delish.
I picked up MC and we headed to Old Navy. We each had a few coupons that needed to be used up. I came home with two dresses.
With all the coupons, I got both dresses for just under $30. Eek! Super exciting.
We then roamed around the Galleria Mall and eventually came home to pump some iron with Jillian Michaels. Post- workout #1, we suited up and hit the gym pool for workout #2-- intervals. We swam for a little under an hour. This is actually my second swim workout with MC. She swam all through high school and college and is a fantastic swimmer. Our last workout kicked my butt. This time around I was able to (semi) keep up. It's funny how quickly our bodies can adapt.
I had packed my lunch so that I could eat at MC's place. Quinoa, my mama's black eyed peas and cantaloupe.
Next, we hit up the pool again...this time to read.
Love this girl.
We spent a good hour out there before it got too dark and we got too tired. I came home, showered and made myself another bowl of quinoa and black eyed peas. I am now settling down to a movie before bed. I have a feeling that I will sleep like a baby tonight. :)
