New Year's Resolutions

I'm on the fence about New Year's Resolutions. I love setting goals, but I think making big, exaggerated statements about life change is unrealistic. I believe in incremental and continuous self-improvement-- hence my monthly goal posts.

That being said, I do have two realistic and attainable goals for 2012.

1. Floss! I suck at flossing. I do it very inconsistently and that needs to change. And that whole thing about flossing and heart disease being linked? Yikes. It's time to build this habit before it's too late.

2. Don't waste food. I'll be the first to admit that I don't like leftovers. This usually means I end up cooking almost everyday. I'm OK with that but every once in a while, I make too much or buy too much and end up throwing food away. (Cue: Gasp) So this year, I want to menu plan and buy accordingly. I also want to stick to the plan since most of my food wastage is a result of impromptu dinner dates.

As always I'll keep you posted on how I do with these.

Are you setting resolutions? Share them with me!
