Cooking Marathon

Wednesday was my day off! I spent the day cooking. No joke. I have mentioned before my dislike for DST (daylight savings time). One of the (many) reasons is that you only get good light for like 3.7 seconds everyday. This sucks when you are trying to take decent photos. And, I need all the help I can get.

So, I woke up early and made myself a bowl of cereal while I figured out my cooking/recipe to-do list.

I had french toast for lunch. Completely unusual but it was because I was dying to take some decent pictures of it so I could share the recipe.

I actually had three slices (the last one tore in the pan) and about a handful more blueberries on that plate. It was delicious.

Post- lunch, I completed one more recipe and taste tested it for a snack.

So, so good.

I somehow managed to convince myself to workout and did a quick Jillian Michaels routine before stopping by Target for some decorations in the afternoon.

Dinner was the last of the leftovers from Maggiano's. I reheated it with a little marinara and a handful of spinach.

I had it with a sprouted wheat pita, some hummus and a spoonful of walnut pesto.

I've been eating that hummus like it's my job the last two days. It's because it expires on Friday. Those sneaky people at Whole Foods put it on sale and I thought I struck gold. I should have known better.

I may or may not have snuck another cookie after dinner. Ok, I definitely did.
