Good question, readers!
Balance is actually something that I am still working on. I hear it's a great way to live life. And, I wish I could confirm that. I honestly struggle with this concept everyday.

Here's the deal. I've realized over time that it is impossible to be perfect. And it is impractical to expect perfection. So, in my mind, balance is planning for and allowing certain slip ups and managing these "slip ups" while working toward your goal. It doesn't come with a reward or punishment. It just comes with a sense of control and foresight.
Balance means different things to different people. And to me, it's an attitude. It's a sense of control. It's knowing that all is not lost if one thing goes wrong. It's about perseverance and determination. But, it's also about being kind to yourself.
Like I said, I'm still struggling with this concept. To some folks, it comes naturally, and to others (ME!) it's a struggle.

Let's take this theory out for a spin, shall we?
