December Goals: In Review

Hmm, remember those December goals I made? Seems like forever ago, huh?

Let's see how I did.

1. Stay balanced. I would say I stayed balanced the first half of this month but I definitely caved in closer to the holidays. Lots of midnight snacks and staying up way too late. I also didn't get in a single day of exercise since I've been in Austin. Total bummer. I'm not beating myself up because I knew this month would be rough.

2. Photo project. Hah! This did not happen. I think we scanned in all of one photo and that to only to check if the scanner was set up properly. But, we did get a healthy dose of nostalgia with some old home videos.

We went through a shoebox full of random videos and found some real gems. An afternoon well spent.

3. Read. I wanted to read three books this break and I've almost read four. I read the whole Hunger Games series about 2 weeks ago and am now finishing up Two States by Chetan Bhagat.

Overall, I'm not terribly proud and I'm not terribly disappointed either. It was a really fun month. This is most likely the last Winter Break (I enter the "real world" in May) so I wanted to soak up every ounce of holiday laziness possible. It was a success. So, no regrets.
