Tofurkey Pizza

A few weeks ago, I picked up a new-to-me vegan pizza. Every once in a while, I'll get a craving for pizza. And naturally, I try to satisfy my craving with the vegan versions. I've actually only tried Amy's Soy Cheese Pizza but Whole Foods was out when I went. So, I picked up what I thought was the next best thing.



It did a pretty good job of advertising itself.





I really wish it had lived up to these claims. It was just so wrong in so many ways. I know that vegan cheese isn't gonna taste like the real stuff, but I was hoping that it wouldn't taste plastic-y and straight up fake. And the crust and sauce were off too. Just plain awful.

I stuck it in the oven and after about 25 mins I still couldn't tell if it was done.



It looked exactly the same frozen and fully cooked. No melting, no brown-ing, no nothing.

Ok, wait..



does that count as melting? Oh, guess I lied.
