Lots of Family Time

Saturday was a day full of family time! Rishab and I slept in 'til about 11am. When we awoke, my parents were already out of the apartment. We didn't bother calling them and just decided to go about our day.

Brunch



Love Crunch granola and almond milk. Costco now sells Love Crunch! I love this granola but it is WAY too expensive ($5 for a small box) but now that Costco is selling it in bulk, I might indulge a little more. This totally makes up for the fact that they have terrible bananas.

When my parents got back around 3pm, they fed us again.



Idlis and onion chutney. Idlis are a sort of steamed dumpling that are a staple for South Indians. I am SUPER finicky about them and can only eat them if my mom "checks" them. I'm still a 2 year old on the inside.

After that, we all went to play with D. More on that later.

As always, we went to W'Kana for dinner. My parents only visit me if I promise them W'kana.



Clockwise starting from the top left corner: moille subz (mixed veggies in a coconut milk broth), baingan bartha (eggplant curry), romali roti (Indian tortillas) and mushroom & apricot briyani (Indian fried rice). It was, as always, amazing.
