Recommitted

Remember when I told you I was adding a little yogurt to my diet? I didn't particularly like this decision of mine and told myself to do a little more research. Well, this weekend, I had a chance to do some research and am now off the yogurt. This makes me SO happy for two reasons: (1) I hate yogurt and (2) I hate yogurt. (Yes, it bears repeating.)

I spent some time this weekend thinking about life and such things and I'm embarking on a new path. This might be reflected on the blog, but the changes are for the better. I think healthiness stems from happiness. So, now I am trying to focus on the happiness part and let the healthiness part work out by itself. Anyway, I am back on the vegan bandwagon.

I woke up REALLY late this morning, so late in fact that it was bordering on afternoon. Somehow, I missed my alarm. Thankfully, I didn't have anything to do until a meeting at 3pm.

Anyway, I put together a smoothie for breakfast.



Spinach, kale, three peeled oranges and a 1/2 cup or so of coconut water.

I drank it up while checking emails and getting ready. I packed up a light lunch/afternoon snack of carrots and hummus.



I also packed some grapes. I ate about half of my lunch before my 5pm class and ate the rest for dinner along with a few slices of cucumber.

Pretty light eating day but only because I was asleep for a good part of it. :)

Off to read and go to bed. I have my 8am class tomorrow and a whole day of meetings. Lame.
