Naps Suck

This morning I woke up at 6:15am and jumped straight into food prep for the day. Before my 8am class, I managed to cook quinoa, prep lunch, prep breakfast, juice and shower.

Breakfast was a sloppy bowl of soaked oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and a tbsp or so of chia seeds with some yogurt and flax oil mixed in. There were strawberries involved too. I actually was not a fan of this breakfast. I forgot to add in some vanilla and cinnamon, so the yogurt flavor was a little strong.

I packed up a lunch by throwing some leftovers on a bed of spinach.



I added some quinoa before I packed it up.

I also juiced this morning. Green Red juice for now, carrot juice for later.

I came home in the early afternoon to avoid some stormy weather on my walk. The rain definitely brought on thoughts of a nap. The only thing is that I am a terrible napper. MC can power nap with the best of them. She takes at least one nap a day if not more. However, my "power naps" turn into just sleeping for 4 hours. I pretty much avoid naps because of this.

I gave in this afternoon at about 3:30pm. I woke up this evening at 8pm. FML.

I woke up, silently berated myself for taking a "nap" and got on with it.

Dinner was some leftovers from lunch along with pancakes. Just 'cuz.



I friggin' love this pancake recipe. Can't get enough.
