After about an hour, everything was put away and I vacuumed the apartment. I didn't end up falling asleep until past 4:30am. I woke up after about 2.5 hours of sleep and shuffled around getting ready for my long Tuesday.
Tea helped.
I ate my breakfast during class.
Uncle Sam cereal, sliced banana and almond milk (not homemade).
After class, I headed straight to my office and got to work. I was determined to get a few things off of my to-do list before I headed to a meeting at 1pm. Somewhere in there, I had lunch.
Whole wheat penne sauteed with garlic and a whole bunch of veggies (spinach, broccolini, mushrooms, onions) topped with marinara and torn basil. This was actually a portion of my leftovers from a family dinner at Maggiano's on Sunday night.
I finished off lunch with a sweet treat.
I love these things. I got a box of them from Costco. Apricot is my least favorite flavor which means that I try to get through them first. Is that weird or totally normal? I know that there are a few of y'all that do this!
Anyway, I came home around 4pm and fixed up a snack plate.
Sprouted wheat pita bread, spinach artichoke hummus and a fiji apple.
And then I went back for two more pita things and another scoop of hummus and my snack plate soon became my dinner plate.
I hit up boot camp at 6:30pm. Since it is dark outside, we now work out in a slightly different area of the park. This puts us closer to a hill which has become our best (and worst) friend. Our trainer had us running up and down that hill all night. It was brutal. I always like it when I feel like I might throw up, pass out or you know, die, during a workout. It's the best, right? (Ok, to be honest, I actually do love tough workouts. I like when my legs feel like jello. It's kinda fun!)
Anyway, I came home, showered and went straight to bed. No dinner or anything. I was exhausted and could barely move. Dinner could wait.
