Dessert for Dinner

Today wasn't the healthiest day. I pretty much had dessert for two out of my three meals. Yikes.

This morning I had a serving of bread pudding with yogurt and raspberries. The thought of this breakfast kinda bummed me out. I wasn't a fan of the bread pudding from yesterday and I don't like yogurt.



But somehow, the bread pudding and the yogurt together works well. I actually semi enjoyed it.

Also, I think I figured out three reasons that the bread pudding didn't come out well.
1) I used allspice which can be finnicky. Sometimes its perfect and sometimes its spicy.
2) I didn't thin out the homemade almond cream enough.
3) I used 1/3 of the sugar that the recipe called for. Just 'cuz. But, I should have made up for it with some chopped dates and other dried fruit or something.

Anyway, no biggie.

I spent the day working and frantically studying for my test. Even though I packed a lunch, I ended up not eating it. I'm still (not surprisingly) struggling with this issue!

I came home after the test and downed a huge bowl of Sunday Soup.



I went to Whole Foods to grab some ingredients for a granola project I'm working on. I probably won't be making the granola until Saturday but I decided to pick it up because I was in the mood for a drive.

While I was there, I put together a dessert idea in my head and decided to pick up some stuff for that too. I came home and got to work.



OH. MY. WORD.

And now, time to watch Bridesmaids. I have been dying to watch this movie since it came out. It's finally at Redbox so I snagged a copy for a post-midterms celebration! Just me, myself and a bottle of kombucha.
