Breakfast is the most important meal. Breakfast also includes a bunch of amazing options- pancakes, waffles, oatmeal. However, most of us don't have time for anything but cereal in the mornings, which is a total bummer. Well, I had a semi-homemade meal of banana nut waffles today and it only took 5 mins.
I use frozen whole wheat waffles and top it off with sliced bananas, chopped walnuts and (real) maple syrup. It's perfect- light but filling, sweet but not too sweet and nutritious. For a more portable option, try waffles with a spread of almond butter and sliced bananas.
